Welcome to the East Cork Journal...
Cork's newest weekly newspaper

The East Cork Journal commenced publication on Thursday, September 6th, 2007 and, since this time, has garnered over 21,000 readers per edition.

Covering a wide range of social, commercial and community-based events and issues throughout the region, the East Cork Journal  ensures that we both inform and entertain our readers - young and old.

Distributed across East Cork and Cork City, the East Cork Journal is available in Midleton, Cobh, Youghal, Glanmire, Little Island, Killeagh, Castlemartyr, Mogeely, Shanagarry, Ladysbridge, Ballinacurra, Saleen, Aghada, Whitegate, Glounthaune, Carrigtwohill and Watergrasshill.

We are aware of a gap in the marketplace for a newspaper that delivers strong local news content, whilst also being aware of the greater issues that affect our community and aim to fill that niche with the news that matters.

With 7,000 copies (€2 per issue) being printed on a weekly basis, the East Cork Journal is dedicated to bring your news to your doorstep.

Remember... it's all you need to read.
